Hello Friends, I am back to the world of blogging. The picni was amazing, not very adventurous but fun. The group was a good one and we enjoyed not only the place but also each other's company. will attach pics tonight.

For those visiting Maharashtra, Bhandardara is a place to be. Its beautiful, untouched by man or machines :), very clean and relaxing. You live in that place for a week or so and you will forget your home town. We didnt miss mumbai at all. it was great out there. Fresh air to breathe, very helpful villagers.

The dam is an amazing site too. This time of the year, ie when the rains have done their bit its even more interesting to watch the process. The way they release water from the dam, how much and how they relate with their higher authorities through the wireless.. is very interesting to know.The mechanism that was used to build the gates, levers and the balance thats been maintained. Its amazing to see how everybody has been assigned a specific job and they just do that to earn their living.

The ghats are fun to drive on, the roads are good but a little narrow, the moment you reach a certain height you are surrounded by clouds and its a thrilling experience coz you can hardly see after a distance of 10mts, with headlights doing their jobs we went ahead and reached our resort.

Bhandardara on the nasik highway is a place I recommend every nature lover to visit.

I almost forgot that I had to update friends with the happenings of May 30th. It was a successful birthday..

The never ending party began at 10:00pm with thunder showers which came as an unplanned pleasant surprised.. It actually cooled us down :).We played games as we waited for all to gather, ate , drank, debated, talked about various people, shared memories of the past... A small show was presented by the M.N.M.S (Mubeen, Naeem, Mariam, Saaniya) as they call themselves. It was a good family get-together.

Usually we make our own cards and have everybody sign in it.. All the cousins share their own experiences and happy moments. It feels great to actually read out aloud all those times when you have had fun, laughed to the heart' content and now sharing it with the entire group makes it even more special..

As the time passed by, the 4Ltr Pepsi intake started showing its effect :)... It was the time for a good debate. Everybody had an opinion to put forward and unfortunately there was no one who would get convinced. So like any other news channel debate it went on and now till early in the morning. It concluded with smiles but no solutions... hopefully next birthday when we meet we will have more suggestions and solutions for the same...
