We arranged the Library according to the Dewey Decimal system. Its a system of library classification developed by Melvil Dewey in 1876. The DDC attempts to organize all knowledge into ten main classes. Except for general works and fiction, works are classified principally by subject.

000 - Computer science, information, and general works
100 - Philosophy and psychology
200 - Religion
300 – Social sciences
400 – Language
500 – Science
600 – Technology
700 – Arts and recreation
800 – Literature
900 – History and geography

It was so much fun to classify the books. The books are now arranged in such manner that its easy and fun to find books. Feels like an achievement. Now we need to put ISBN numbers so anybody following the same system will have the same number for the same book and the best part is that they will find it in the same category / book shelf in our Library too.

Now we need to maintain not only the system but also the books.
